3 months - and rolling!

Bryce is now 3 months old! When trying to take his picture, he decided to roll over. He's an active and happy little guy!

Bryce - 2 months

It's hard to believe Bryce is already two months old!

He is generally a good baby and often smiles and coos. He still has a hearty appetite, but he sleeps through the night, so we definitely can't complain!

Disneyworld!

We had an amazing trip to Disneyworld. Yes, Bryce was too young, and no, Emmy won't remember it, but just spending the time together and sharing in Em's excitement made it all worthwhile, and I would do it a million times over again!

We started our week with a welcome dinner put on by Jeff's company. That was our first meet and greet with Mickey and Minnie and gave Em a chance to see them in an uncrowded environment. Of course, she then expected them to be at every meal for the rest of the week. Later in the week, Gigi and Grandad came in town to spend some quality time with Bryce while we took Emmy to the parks. Emmy loved the rides, shows, and meeting princesses as well as her dream man - Handy Manny! We also had front row seats for the Hoop Dee Doo musical review and breakfast at Chef Mickey's with all of her favorite characters! It was a wonderful time, and we are looking forward to going back when Bryce can also enjoy it!

Smiles!

Bryce is smiling, laughing and cooing now. He's growing so fast. At his six week appointment, he was over 13 1/2 pounds and 25 inches. He's doing great and is happy and healthy!

Bryce - 1 month

Bryce is already one month old and growing quickly! He's holding his head up now and starting to coo. I think I've even seen some deliberate smiles!

Aunt Lindsay and Dadoo's birthdays

Emerson insisted on birthday hats for the party and Dadoo was happy to oblige. Bryce slept through most of the party, but we still included him on the fun!

Summer's Here

Emerson has been doing great as a big sister. He's the first thing she asks about every morning and can't wait to hug, kiss, and hold him. She loves when he looks at her and "talks" to her. We've had a fun start to summer, including Bryce in all of our activities - pool, shopping, parties. Next week will be our first long car trip and hotel stay as a family of four. We'll see how that goes!

Baby Brother is Here!!!

Emmy's world has expanded with the birth of her baby brother, Bryce Donald. He came into this world at 10 lbs and 23 inches! His daddy is already envisioning many athletic possibilities.

Emerson has been an amazing big sister. She is helpful and very loving towards him. They're going to have so much fun growing up together!

Grant's Farm

We spent Sunday afternoon visiting with the animals at Grant's Farm. Emerson loved the tram ride and seeing zebras, buffalo and all of the other animals up close! She also enjoyed feeding the goats with the bottles like she said she'll do for her baby brother (she's going to be a great help!). Since we were last there, they have added an elephant show. We were sitting close to the front, so she thought getting sprayed by the water from his trunk was pretty funny. Then, Em was chosen to receive the balloon that the elephant blew up for her! She was excited that the elephant gave her a balloon. However, our first thoughts were that we had to carry it the rest of the day!
